ABOUT ME:

I am a researcher at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, Sweden and the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), Norway. My recent research focuses on water resources in relation to violent conflict. I have a general interest in research linking the environment with peace and conflict issues.

As a member of the Research School on International Water Cooperation, I am also affiliated with the Center on International Water Cooperation, the first UNESCO Category II center with a focus on water for peace and development. The center is hosted by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI).
